Headteacher's Message

As the week draws to a close – and as our Summer Enrichment Week and the end of term will soon be upon us, I have taken the time to reflect on the many successes of this week and of this academic year.
The first thing I must say is that I am immensely proud of our students and of your children – and this week I have seen all of their strengths. The ‘can-do’ approach to Sports Day and the community feel was extraordinary, as was the respectful manner in which the whole School celebrated individual and House success during Tuesday’s Celebration Assembly. The Celebration Assembly was a particular highlight as we saw record numbers of students receive Commendations and Ixworth Pins. I am particularly proud of the photo after the assembly where all of the Prize Winners stayed behind; almost half of Years 7-10 received a prize that afternoon which is fantastic!

These students have undertaken degree level study and have been fortunate enough to work with a PhD researcher.
