Headteacher's Message

Another busy term is drawing towards a close, and one can see the exhaustion in the faces of students, not to mention the staff! It has however been a successful term with a number of highlights, including a record number of students receiving Ixworth Pins and a significant increase in sporting fixtures. I have also been impressed by the quality of the Year 7-9 Extended Projects and have included a newspaper article in this term’s Ixchange that Isaac in Year 7 has written in response to the ‘Morality and Ethics’ project students undertook in November.

It was also wonderful to see such strong turnouts at our Remembrance services marking 100 years since the ceasefire of the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, back in 1918. All generations were represented and the events of that weekend will linger long in the memory, both collective and individual.
